I tend to pay attention to signs. Signs are helpful in that they point us in the right direction, or highlight noteworthy sites, like vistas, historical markers, or tourist attractions. But sometimes signs are silly; they seem to state the obvious. And we think to ourselves, is that a joke? I wonder if Jesus felt like he was stating the obvious to the religious leaders of his day? Of course Jesus did not hold up signs, he had something better…parables.
