“God loves you.” That phrase has become a cliche in our culture. A bumper sticker. Something we read right past. But in reality, it is one of the most profound truths in the universe and it ought to bring us to our knees! In fact, some have called God’s love “reckless.” Is that a theologically accurate way to describe God’s love for us or is it a reckless overstatement? However we describe it, may God use Sunday’s sermon to be filled with awe and childlike wonder about just how deep the Father’s love is for us!
